Hi, my name is Bree.

I am currently immersed in my last year as a student at the University of Oregon and will be graduating in spring 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and a minor in writing, public speaking and critical reasoning. Originally from Orange County, California, I crave a warm day at the beach but have grown to appreciate and love all that the PNW has to offer.

My journey into the realm of PR spawned through my curiosity surrounding the tireless, dynamic and compelling career of my aunt, who assiduously worked her way up in the PR industry over the years. Her tenacious ability to develop solid relationships with peers in the journalism world, as well as with past and present clients, is a characteristic that I’d like to say runs in our genetics. And, similar to her, my passions in life are what motivate me.

The past two summers I worked as a public relations intern at Noot Inc., a small B2B, consumer and event PR firm, which provided me the opportunity to work alongside a seasoned PR professional and interact directly with journalists and clients. During my tenure as a student at the University of Oregon, my goals include developing a career in consumer PR, but exposure to a variety of clients in my internship – including B2B and healthcare – broadened my passions considerably.

Following graduation, I aspire to work for a public relations agency, ideally abroad, to expand my knowledge of the inner workings of the PR industry globally.
